Our Core Values
Athlete-first Coaching
Our priority is athlete growth and success, not achieving our own personal racing goals.
Adventure
Whether it’s a race, an FKT, or a self-supported run, we encourage exploration and finding joy through running.
Science-based Training
We rely on proven, evidence-based coaching methods, focusing on what works rather than what’s trendy.
Inclusivity
Ultrarunning is for everyone. We welcome runners of all abilities and experience levels.
Our Coaching Principles
No Unnecessary Suffering
Every workout has a purpose; training should be challenging but never pointless.
No Shortcuts on Recovery
Progress comes from smart training and proper recovery. Rest days are non-negotiable.
No Fixed Programming
Every athlete gets a personalized, adaptable program based on their experience, progress, and needs.
No Fancy Footwork
Workouts are built on proven, evidence-based methods designed for real results, not driven by fads or trends.

About your coach
Calantha Elsby
I came to ultra trail running from fastpacking, drawn by the challenge of pushing beyond my limits while traveling solo and self-supported through the wilderness. I’ve explored most of Southern Ontario’s trails and those in Eastern Québec, fastpacked some of Ontario’s iconic routes, and climbed many of Québec’s eastern mountains. Along the way, I faced my own setbacks, including injuries and DNFs, but I also set a 50 km FKT and participated in numerous races, like QMT and Harricana, as a volunteer and an athlete.
Through these experiences, I’ve learned firsthand how personalized, one-on-one coaching can help athletes train smarter, listen to their bodies, and achieve their goals. There’s an abundance of flashy, influencer-driven advice online that prioritizes hype over evidence; I’m here to help athletes train safely, effectively and efficiently using science-backed methods suited to their specific needs and objectives.
